The sound pictures in this gallery are all quiet pieces, with no beats or surprises. Some of them are 'drones' and 'sound territories' others lean towards art damaged and undisciplined 'faux classical' improvisations, which to me sound like medieval canon music. I think most of these sound pictures are too melodic and annoying to be ambient or meditation muzak. Perhaps they just bring a colour or some sonic incense into your room and some space for some quiet(ish) 'thinking'.
Other reference points might be Fripp and Eno's 'Heavenly Music Corporation / Index of Metals' or Tangerine Dream's 'Zeit' and Morton Feldman.

I am not very interested in listening to contemporary sounds or soundscape artists and like to work with a limited palette of sounds. I am more of a mono fan and audio verite and first takes with some subtle editing than laboured 3D, structured reverb and compression, deep space post production.
