Recorded in Leichhardt in 1978 experimenting on the newly acquired Revox A77 (which later became the first M.Squared two track mastering recorder), guitars, a borrowed Roland Space and tape loops. I think this was at the house before the house that became M.Squared studio. I have no keyboards, so I made keyboard and drone sounds with guitars with reverb on reverb on reverb to loose the attack. I did it all on headphones, because I was a bit embarrassed that anyone would hear my stuff, as there were much more accomplished 'real' musicians and artists around in my house. I felt like a 'pretender'. I hadn't found my feet and my MSquared 'noise mates' yet.

Fractured and Angst were released in 1980 on the first M.Squared cassette release "More songs that will never be released".

'Fractured +' is a remix assemblage of various parts recorded separately in 1978. 'Blandscape' has some added post production i.e reverb and space.

While I was doing this I was also writing unspectacular acoustic songs which have a sort of Syd Barrett - like charm, but thankfully will remain in the ACRA vaults.

This is the absolut grail... Silberstreif for example made this 3 track EP that was beyond 250 and more on Discogs ... no chance for me so far ! Many tracks on this EP like the Nullzeit one were my enter to underground NDW. Phenomenal Igor Amore
