Ingredients: Memories of spooked out 1950's childhood sci-fi transmissions, Qatermass, Morton Feldman, Zeit, ring modulators, introverted extroversion, rusty beds, solar winds/breath and the lights and shapes behind my eyelids when I close my eyes.

Don't worry, its not your speakers .. post production Lo-fi rust, blurs, furs and mrrk are all intended. Despite the bright exteriors an internal aural Dorian Gray. It gets dark in here sometimes.

... it's a territory with no population. Too dull to be played live.

Having only heard random tracks after the Haul Ass album this compilation synthesizes the poppier output after 1998. Russia is a full on pop song but Rental Heart Hard Swallow is the winner for me here - it sound like the most delicate object floating through space. Bruce Scheffel
