about

This is my other favourite YYC track. Built on a Orff Skolwork keyboard riff by Fiona and Patrick's obsession with 'pretend kraftwerk'. Fiona and I were big fans of Carl Orff. There is a moment about 2/3 of the way through, where Patrick and Fiona's merge and 'transcend' into another dimension. The lyric is some banter about Karl Marx who foresaked the well being of his children for the sake of writing the Communist Manifesto, mixed up with Professor Julius Sumner Miller. Produced by YYC.

This was produced by YYC, so it's just the three of us. It's a survivor of the great 'lost' YYC, where we demoed all of the YYC songs we were playing at the time.
