'As the sun began to set, the saturated atmospheric particles above the city filtered out the reds and the blues; the sky and light took a dirty green hue, as if conjuring a tornado. They reckon the sky goes green just before a tornado, but I don’t know, I have never seen a tornado. Don’t want to, either. Concepts, words, virus and nano particles continued to rain from the sky, outside. There was a constant chit-chatter resonating in the ether.

The muons were behaving badly.

The portal opened again, still more ideas fell out of the sky, their conceptual premise filling our minds with dangerous words. Everyone missed the slight crack of the portal opening, as the ideas began to fall from the sky. We all know that there is only information … out there. The universe is comprised of matter, energy, waves and strings, dark matter and information. Ready to be received, deceived and analysed. It is our reckoning and interpretation that is always the problem.

Today, as always, it started as an innocent shower, a light English sort of whimsical rain. Everyone said,

‘ha ha, what a light whimsical rain. Fzzzz. At last, some refreshment for our parched faces’.

Soon after the ideas fell on the ground, they started to cluster into words, information and concepts. Ready and eager to invade our minds. Nobody noticed. But I could see them.

I refrained from shouting out and warning others. I wanted to see what happened next.

The concepts were organised like viruses.

Upon contact with the ground and after they organised themselves, they quickly scurried off to a predetermined destination. They had a job to do. To make best use of their existence. They found their way into books, social media, traditional media, love letters, litigation notices, bar conversations, playground banter. Others just found an orifice, an ear, a nose or a mouth and directly entered to reside inside people’s heads.'
